I own this set and a very nice set from Zwilling Henckels. The forged knives are great and I know they will get the job done, but I keep grabbing the R134 Chef knife and it hasn't let me down. I cut things with the Rada's that I wouldn't put a Zwilling through just because of the price difference. Cut for cut the forged knives hold an edge longer than the Rada. The Rada's being so much cheaper that is acceptable as they are easy to sharpen. Almost any professional will tell you there isn't a single set that is perfect, they mix and match different knives because it is what feels comfortable that matters most. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase the R134 again because it definitely has a place in my kitchen. If you need a set that will get the job done then there isn't anything wrong with the G238. It has all the basics covered. Just understand these are light weight knives, and feel different if your coming from a forged or heavy knife, but they can hold there own.
